DAY 3 : HA NOI – HA LONG
Breakfast at the hotel
Discover the capital of Vietnam and its most remarkable sites. You will see the place Ba Dinh on which stands the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh (external visit), its modest house (visit) as well as the former palace of the Governor of Indochina (external visit) and the charming Pagoda of One Pillar. Then discover the beautiful Temple of Literature where students obtained their mandarin diploma and discover the colonial district and its impressive opera house. Walk on the shores of the Lake of the Sword Restored and visit the small temple Ngoc-Son installed on an island. Then discover on foot the famous district of guilds touDays very animated.
Lunch. Depart to Halong. Stop at handicapped craftsmen’s workshops in Dai Viet.

DAY 4 : HA LONG – HA NOI – HUE
Breakfast at the hotel
Morning boat ride in the famous Halong Bay ** to discover the strange seascapes dotted with rocks with strange shapes. Stopovers to visit islands and caves (see Notes). Lunch on board (seafood).
Back to Hanoi.
Dinner at the restaurant.
Transfer to the station and depart by night train to Hue.
DAY 5 : HUE
Check in the early morning. Transfer to the hotel Duy Thanh 3 * for breakfast and to cool off. Then, aboard a dragon boat, go up the charming Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu pagoda (the Heavenly Lady) and its very revered temple. Then discover the Imperial Palace of Hue ** and its sumptuous buildings inspired by the famous Forbidden City of Beijing. Continue to the History Museum, which displays the treasures of the imperial collections. Breakfast in a local restaurant. Demonstration of calligraphy and tai chi at a martial arts center. In the city center, visit Dong Ba Market, famous for its conical hats and free time for photos or shopping. Return to the hotel in a pedicab (1h). Installation in the rooms.

DAY 6 : HUE – HOI AN
Breakfast at the hotel
Free morning in Hue for shopping or personal visits to this attractive city now considered as the cultural capital of Vietnam.
Free lunch.
In the afternoon, depart to Danang and Hoï An. Installation at the hotel Ancient House 3 *.

DAY 7 : HOI AN – HO CH MINH CITY.
Breakfast at the hotel
Walking tour of Hoï An * and its beautiful old streets. Discover Fujian Marine Sanctuary, Phuc Thanh Pagoda, Japanese Bridge, Old House and Silkworm Farm. Hoï An is often the favorite stop of visitors to Vietnam.
Free lunch and free afternoon to stroll through the ancient city with charming pedestrian streets
Dinner at the restaurant.
Transfer to Danang station and depart by night train to Saigon.
DAY 8 : HO CHI MINH CITY.
Breakfast at the hotel
Arrival in Saigon in the afternoon (lunch on board: lyophilized noodle soup in Vietnamese fashion). Bus tour of the colonial center of Saigon. You will see in particular: the former Town Hall copied from the one in Paris, the Notre-Dame cathedral whose bricks come from Toulouse, the post due to Gustave Eiffel, the opera house and the old Catinat street. Installation at the hotel Au Lac 3 *.
Free dinner.
Overnight at hotel in Hochiminh city.
DAY 9: HO CHI MINH CITY – FRANCE OR EXTENSION
Morning and free lunch in Saigon for shopping or personal activities. Visit of a lacquerware factory. Transfer to the airport. Flight to France.
